Retinal scans to assess
systemic health

Non-invasively assess your cognitive, metabolic, and cardiovascular health.

What can your eyes tell you?

Retinal images serve as a "window" into your broader health, offering insights into systemic diseases and overall health.

Early Detection

Early assessment of cognitive, metabolic, and cardiovascular health indicators.

Simple & Non-Invasive

A quick retinal image is all it takes to uncover potential risks.

A quick retinal image is all it takes to uncover potential brain health risks.

Identify Modifiable Risks

Identify specific changeable factors in your retinal data that impact health.

Personalized Action Plan

Get clear tailored steps to reduce your likelihood of various issues and improve overall health.

Monitor Progress Over Time

Track changes in your retinal vasculature with regular follow-up scans and updates.

Safe & Secure

Your data is protected with robust privacy and security measures.

How it works

First

Connect with partner clinic

After completing an intake form, we will connect you with one of our partner clinics. If we do not have a partner clinic in your area, we will work with a local provider.

Second

Complete retinal scan

Our partner clinic will do Color Fundus Photography (CFP) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scans of your retina.

Third

Receive results

We analyze the images and generate a report for you and your primary care provider.

Science

Backed by clinically-validated research

The underlying science behind Florence’s technology is rooted in retinal imaging and advanced machine learning. By analyzing extensive data from Color Fundus Photography (CFP) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) images, machine learning algorithms learn to recognize subtle retinal patterns linked to a variety of diseases.

Retinal images serve as a "window" into broader health, offering insights into the risks of systemic diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's Disease, heart disease, and stroke risk.

The Vision

We believe in a future where simple screening modalities, such as retinal exams, can provide vast, high-quality, actionable information regarding a patient's health.
